Conflicts and insecurity
Most migrants today embark on perilous journey around the globe trying to find a better life. Although a good percentage of these migrant can be termed economic migrants, large number of migrants are driven from their ancestral heritage and countries due to internal strife and insecurity. These could have been caused by social economic activities from large cooperation, majority tend to be due to conflicts and war in their home country. Where many migrants families have no hope of a better tomorrow, they decide to take their chance with the hazardous elements and savage smuggling gangs. Even though trying to fix the issues in their home country could have possibly give them a better sense of belonging. Providing physical, economic and emotional security must be a holistic approach that government around the world must address and should be the fore front of any sane society! How can we collectively achieve this.
